You've probably heard the story of your mothers birth from your grandmother and probably the story of your birth and your brothers birth and your husbands birth and your cousins birth..... Some stories will be of blissful births and some will be of difficult trials, but every mother has a story to share.

Why is this day so important to us? What is the
significance in this day...our children's birth days?

I believe It is the day that begins to define us...it is the
transformation from woman to mother. Like a
butterfly, in a few hours of our life we blossom into new creatures...we become mothers.

It is a day that you will never forget.

As a mother, a sister, a daughter....and a woman, I
recognize the importance of this event and with
great care, experience and intuition, I would like to
help you have a more satisfying birth.

I offer midwifery, doula, childbirth education, postpartum doula & breastfeeding assistance in and around the Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Lampasas, Killeen areas please conatct me for more info. I am also available at certain times in San Antonio.

About Me

Minutes after the birth of my first child my husband and I turned to each other wide-eyed and amazed, "WOW!" After that empowering experience I felt like I could do anything! I had to know more! I read every book I could find and watched every video. I listened to my friends and families birth stories and shared mine with anyone who would listen.

Since then my husband and I have been blessed with five more beautiful children. Each one of their births were so different, yet somehow the same. My body miraculously remembered everything it needed to do for each birth and now more than twelve years later I still find birth incredible. From the moment of conception to the baby's first breath, I am amazed. From the delicate ways our bodies change during pregnancy to the powerful ways our bodies work to push our babies into the world. I still stand amazed.

Being able to share this experience with other women and their families is a dream come true! I feel truly blessed and honored at each birth I am invited to.
